PTY LTD
Closing it wrong costs more than closing it properly.
ASIC keeps charging you
A dormant company isn't a closed one. The annual review fee keeps landing every year — plus late penalties — until someone actually deregisters it.
Records go missing
You need BAS, resolutions and bank statements for years after closing. Shut down in a hurry and there's nothing to show if the ATO — or a creditor — ever asks.
You can still be personally on the hook
Unpaid PAYG withholding and superannuation guarantee amounts don't disappear with the company — directors can remain personally exposed.
The platform and service that closes it, either way.
Do it yourself with a guided, step-by-step pathway, or let us close it for you — either way, every form, resolution and decision is tracked with a full audit trail and a records vault, so nothing gets lost and nothing gets missed.

Built for owners who just want it closed — properly.
Dormant or finished companies
No trading, no debts, no staff issues — the company just needs the ASIC deregistration pathway explained and prepared, step by step.
ABN and account cleanup
Stop trading cleanly: cancel your ABN and registrations, close bank accounts, save records, and confirm your ATO obligations before you walk away.
Cleanup before closure
Still winding back? Sort subscriptions, records, bank accounts, accountant checks and BAS prompts — so the day you close, nothing's missing.
Assess. Get your pathway. Lodge. Done.

Every resolution, form and signature happens in your portal. Nothing to print, scan, or post.
Lodged by a registered ASIC agent
Your Form 6010 is prepared and lodged by a registered agent, not a generic form-filling tool.
Encrypted storage with a full audit trail
Every document and every completed task is timestamped and private to your account — a clear record if anyone ever asks.
Built in Australia, for Australian business law
Your data is stored in Australia, and every step follows ASIC and ATO rules as they actually apply here.
Flat pricing, gov fees included
The price you see is the price you pay — no hourly billing, no add-ons sprung on you halfway through.
Multi-entity support
Closing more than one company? Full closure covers up to 5 entities from a single account.
We handle the simple. We route out the risky.
That's the whole point — you always know whether you're safe to self-serve, and exactly who to see when you're not.

Questions owners ask before they shut it down.
Can WindItDown help sole traders too?
Yes. Sole traders get a simpler pathway covering ABN cancellation, business name, bank accounts, software, records and ATO prompts — everything you should tidy before you stop trading.
Do I need an accountant to close a business?
For a simple, debt-free shutdown — often not. Where the answer is “yes, you do”, the platform tells you before you get in trouble, not after.
Is this insolvency advice?
No. WindItDown is guided administration for simple closures only. If your situation involves debt, disputes or possible insolvency, we route you to a registered professional immediately.
Does WindItDown lodge with ASIC for me?
The DIY and Full closure plans guide you to self-lodge. The ASIC deregistration plan prepares the Form 6010 pack with you and confirms readiness before lodgement.
What happens if my company has debt?
The eligibility check flags it up front. Companies with debts can’t be voluntarily deregistered — you’ll be pointed to the right professional pathway instead of wasting time or money here.
How long does the whole process take?
The checklist itself takes as long as you need. Once Form 6010 is lodged, ASIC requires a roughly two-month public notice period before a company is actually deregistered — that's ASIC's timeline, not ours, and applies no matter who lodges it.
What's your refund policy?
Plan fees are generally non-refundable once we've started work on your application — but if something's gone wrong, contact us and we'll work it out with you. Nothing here affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
